McGrady and Yao make All-NBA 3rd Team

Post#1 » by TMU » Thu May 8, 2008 9:42 pm

1st Team
C - Dwight Howard
F - Kevin Garnett
F - LeBron James
G - Kobe Bryant
G - Chris Paul

2nd Team
C - Tim Duncan
F - Amare Stoudemire
F - Dirk Nowitzki
G - Deron Williams
G - Steve Nash

3rd Team
C - Yao Ming
F - Carlos Boozer
F - Paul Pierce
G - Manu Ginobili
G - Tracy McGrady

Can't believe Yao made the team despite missing majority of the season.

It drives me NUTS how Duncan is ALWAYS a PF until it's him or Yao on the All-NBA Center spot. Whoops, I'm magically a center now!

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

Personally i thought T-Mac deserved second team selection considering what he did for the team this season.

T-Mac didn't do much statistically. His being on the court was the main thing, especially on the 22 game winning streak.

I think everybody's fine where they are, but like other's I'm surprised Yao made it considering the amount of games he made. I'm not complaining though :)

If Yao were healthy, he would have made at least 2nd team.

Nash and Deron are great but Tracy McGrady deserves to be in the second team, the team-record with him in the 60 games he played is awesome, plus Tracy McGrady finished before Deron and Nash in Mvp award.

In terms of importance to their respective teams, I agree with the 2nd team argument for T-Mac
