Game 2: Cavs @ Celtics 7pm on ESPN

Post#1 » by LoveThemCavs » Thu May 8, 2008 10:58 pm

Things didn't end the way we wanted it to in game 1. Hopefully a few more of you guys around this time to discuss the game. It would be ideal to see LeBron assert himself early to get the other guys some open shots. Z has to keep getting alot of looks. Perkins did a good job most of the time forcing him into some traveling violations. Go Cavs, just need to steal homecourt from them.

Z is playing great, just needs to avoid that second early foul. They'll likely try to go at him. LeBron is too perimeter oriented, I know Boston does a good job defensively. Still he needs to try to put some pressure on them in the paint.

This is the kind of start the Cavs needed..don't want to jinx it but if they keep up this focus we have a shot

You gotta like how the Cavs have adjusted on Rondo. Delonte is slacking off into the paint daring Rondo to shoot jumpers. I'll take that, especially how Rondo is killing us on the drive. What happened to Wallace? I know they took him to the lockeroom but didn't see what happened to him.

That layup by LeBron isn't going to get the due that it deserves. That was a spectacular shot

That was a clean block by Wally, but I guess it's a makeup for the cheap foul that Delonte got earlier.

LeBron is still off, but at least it's not as bad as last game.

Seriously, love LeBron's game. His end of the shot clock fadaway three's are the worst play in basketball. Damn, I hate that play and it happens all the time.

Mike Brown is an idiot. Anyone could have seen this Boston run coming about a 4 possessions ago. Why wait so damn long for a timeout?

I can't believe how they are calling all of these reaching calls on the Cavs but none on the Celts

LeBron needed that layup and/or dunk. I've never seen him this off for more than one game.

Cavs screwed by the refs again since LeBorn should have had free throws.

We got screwed there. LeBron was clearly on his way up to shoot. Should be on the FT line. The way he's playing, we need all the breaks we can get. Oh and now this. We're getting screwed over right now.

By the way, there was no contact on that breakaway either.

While Z through an elbow, where is the contempt for acting on that play that there was earlier for LeBron.

Boy are these guys hypocrites
