Didn't the league protect Dwayne Wade in their title run?

well, with a same hard foul, yea but with the rules change, alot of players are getting more calls than Jordan, with fouls of equal abuse.

...People have actually been oblivious to the biased towards the all-stars, in this case the soft calls being made for lebron? Or is this the first person to speak out about it?

Im glad he decided to say something though, shows he isn't scared of Stern or what anyone has to say.

Yea he's completely right. The NBA has softened up so much. It's not only with the star treatment either. The whole flagrant foul system is a joke. I know they're trying to protect the players, but in doing so they're watering down the game.

I agree

It's getting out of hand. A big handicap for teams minus star players

The NBA is quickly becoming a joke. If we see a Celtics/Lakers finals and Memphis gets the #1 pick, then I will really raise some questions.

Conspiracy theory that Memphis gets the #1 pick guaranteed by Stern because of them sending Gasol to LA for free.

Well Cassell did make a clear play on the ball before his hand slipped off from the ball and hit James in the shoulder. I agree with him that it shouldn't have been a flagrant.

BUT, I wish he would keep his mouth shut, because sometimes criticizing the refs can come back to bite you later on in the playoffs.
