Instead of posting these ridiculous conspiracy theories on forums, why not explain how do these guys get to the line , for example kevin martin is not a superstar and yet he avg 9.5 FTAs per game (#5 in the league), martin gets a lot of calls because he knows how to draw fouls.
^old rules were extremely unfair, Thats not defense, thats holding.
Simple, if you don't like the current product, just stop watching.
wow people actually are stupid enough to believe these ridiculous conspiracy theories.big123 wrote:The NBA is quickly becoming a joke. If we see a Celtics/Lakers finals and Memphis gets the #1 pick, then I will really raise some questions.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

Who the heck are you, Stern? It's ridiculous for you to be all pissy about it.

Funny, I read the actual quotes by Cassell and I didn't see a single place where he inferred that Lebron was getting favorable calls.
All I saw were complaints over how Flagrants are called too easy today which I agree with. Seems the author took some liberties with his writing.

except Nash...
Im surprised the lack of calls he gets getting pounded when he enters the paint. I pin pointed Nash, since I've seen a lot of suns games, and considering he is a 2 time MVP... you'd think they'd "protect" him as much.
Yet, the Wades, Bryants, James etc. Absolutely gets to the line with a finger literally on them.

Nash gets away with 2 moving screens a game, coming down the left sideline for a dribble handoff and then plowing right through the guy's defender. NFL receivers are jealous of his ability to run the pick route.

HA. i was thinking the same thing. i wonder how lebron likes some of his own medicine. hopefully it will bring him back down to earth, because once he realizes not every bounce will go his way he'll work to become an even more incredible and unstoppable player. but i'm almost glad the wiz lost the first round simply so i didn't have to endure another series of questionable bull crap.
