Other roster moves;

Sign:

David Andersen / Solo / Mario / Richarson

Calderon / Acie / Speedy

JJ / Mario

Chil / Kapono / Richardson

Smoove / Andersen / Solo

Horford / Zaza / Brezec

We still have the MLE to get a 2/3 or another inside banger.

Then we could try this one;

Smoove / Salim

for

Monta / Pietrus / POB

Our new roster

Calderon / Law / Speedy

Monta / Chil / Pietrus / Mario

JJ / Kapono / Richarson

Horford / Brezec / Jones

Andersen / Zaza / POB

I'm having a hard time with the Smoove trade.

Why make all these trades?

This is horrible. Now they all have to learn each other again and gain some kind of chemistry. Which will leave us about 15 games under 500 when that happens. TOO LATE!

Put Marvin's A$$ on the bench start Josh Childress, sign Diop or a Legit 7 footer to come off the bench. Just those adjustments alone gets us to at least a 4th seed. If we keep being an NBA farm team we will never win anything.

All of these guys are young. No one is over the hill or close to retiring but Claxton and he dont count. So leave them where they are and just let them play. Stop making total team Overhauls!

If the new GM could get Calderon for Marv, all would be forgiven.

By the way tbhawksfan, your "new lineup" after the Smith trade would be the worst defensive squad in the leage by a solid margin.

I don't like the second trade.

Back to the first trade, OK, but if we sign Andersen, it would be part of at least $4M of the MLE, so you can't say "We still have the MLE to get a 2/3 or another inside banger."

And not sure Andersen would accept...

Well you know more about the cap than me but Andersen isn't an FA is he? Since we drafted him do we have to worry about the salary figure?

yes- you still have to fit him under the cap. The rules are different for first rounders

I like the first trade best also. Just playing around.

I'd even be happy with just signing Andersen and keeping what we have.

I hate the 2nd trade. POB will be an urfa this offseason since GS didn't pick up his option. Monta is good, but I do not feel comfortable with Andersen at C and his backup being Zaza.
