Yeah Reggie's grill is messed up. He's not good at all, and Cheryl is made for radio.

This thread is based on the false premise that Cheryl and Reggie Miller are two different people.

Cheryl. Not that I'm a huge fan of her, but Reggie is brutal.

I like Cheryl as a sideline analyst, and Reggie is OK calling games, but I'd rather see Reggie in the studio. If Kenny Smith leaves for a GM spot I think Reggie would be a natural choice to replace him and would definately be the same kind've contrast to Charles that Kenny is.

I miss Steve Kerr calling games. And damn I miss the Hubie Brown/Dick Stockton days, those two together are what a basketball game is supposed to sound like.

Don't miss Dick Stockton at all. His regular habit of mis-identifying players was annoying. He would never even bother to correct his errors, which were many.

I kinda like Reggie, but not for any criteria that involves commentating.

I like Reggie because sometimes he gets into a mode where he's calling the game like he's a fan. For example, if Josh Howard can't make a shot...Reggie starts going, "Howard can't make a shot I make in my sleep!"

or "Dear god, Howard takes another shot". This is then followed by Reggie making a bunch of remarks we all would make if we were sitting around with our friends at home watching a playoff game.
