It's crazy how irrelevant Allen Iverson has become in Denver

He had an awesome season. Carmelo is just a chucker and the rest of his teammates are idiots. Camby is the only other good player.

AI is a career .426 % shooter yet Melo is the chucker. :noway:

You need a less conventional, specific kind of team around Iverson. And even moreso with Anthony there.

It also hurt his imagine when the 76er went on a late run after trading AI and are doing well this season. If the 76er were doing really badly then there would be talk about how terrible the trade was which elevate AI's status/important. You just have to compare this with the KG trade and see why one star is relevant and another is not.

Eh, The Sixers had a different squad this year and a more mature Iggy than 2 years ago. The major contributors for the Sixers this year Iverson didn't even play with (Miller, Thad, Evans, Williams, Carney.). It's far from the same team that Iverson played with (last legs Webber, 2nd year Iggy, Ollie, Green and Korver. Plus the new GM thfis year put a fire into their asses and Cheeks to play the way he thought would best suite the team and demanded to play the youngsters.

My point is that since the 76er are doing well, there can't be a story that AI was the team.

Miller was traded for Iverson and Williams/carney did play with Iverson. Green/ollie is still with the 76ers and Korver isn't that bad.

The trade was just a 1 1/2 ago. You act like it's a complete different team.

Also looking Iggies stat from last year to this year - it's not that different. He didn't exploded from last season at all.

Not in the same neighborhood as KG or Duncan, no. The thread poster was talking about AI being in MVP discussions and among the best players in the game, and he's just not. And neither is Baron. And neither is Chauncey.

If Melo's such a chucker why si his shooting percentage so much higher then AI's? I think we can tell who the real idiot is, when an AI fan calls someone else a chucker.
