These playoffs have not been terrible.

The Jazz/Rockets series was terrible for me, but

The C's/Hawks series was entertaining
Hornets/Mavs was fun
Pistons/Sixers was fun
Cavs/Celtics is going to be entertaining
Lakers/Jazz will be entertaining

Most of the games have been high quality, the problem is the series havent been close and the better teams tend to pull away at the end.

Actually, the biggest problem is homecourt and how big it is in the NBA. Most of the games you know whos gonna win despite how good it is, if the game is close at the end the home team has won like 95% of the time this postseason besides that Houston/Utah game.

I think in the game 4's this trend may change, but then some of the series will only go 5 and people will still complain so what can you do. The cream rise to the top.

this isnt college hoops.....upsets are hard to come by in a 7 game series. So far the higher seeded teams have done what they were expected to do...win. I don't think these playoffs are a let down. Maybe you over hyped them a little bit :dontknow:

What are you talking about? All of the top eighth seeds advanced. The pretenders were eliminated in 5 (Phoenix and Dallas). There were two series in the leastern conference that were extended than usual (Atlanta and Philly). I think this year's playoffs is good.

At least it looks like a few exciting teams are going on to the Conference Finals and Finals. None of those usual boring teams (Pistons, Spurs, Cavs). The Hornets-Lakers and Celtics-Pistons series seem promising. And if the Pistons don't make it to the Finals, then we might actually get to watch a fun Finals.

Anti-climactic is exactly how I'd describe these playoffs. Honestly, it's all been downhill since that double OT Spurs v Suns game.

who cares? every series can't be fun and exciting..when does that ever happen?..there are great games and some great series..not every game and series can be a classic..

I've never been bored while watching a basketball game..I just cheer for my team..when they're eliminated, I cheer against other teams..when there are 2 teams that I don't care about, I don't watch..what's the point in complaining? they're trying to win a title, not entertain you..

personally i never really care about how other teams and series do, as long as my jazz are still in it, the playoffs are great. i could careless if every series went to 7 games all decided by under 3 points.

First round series typically don't go to 7 games. As for the second round, 2-1 is as close as a series can be after 3 games. I don't think there's a problem. We've just been spoiled by the competitive regular season.

In the 1st round most series that were 2-1..were extended to 3-1 and made the series less exciting and one sided.

Lets see if Orlando, Utah, San Antonio, and Cleveland can hold their home court or else itll be a repeat of the 1st round,.
