These playoffs have not been terrible.
The Jazz/Rockets series was terrible for me, but
The C's/Hawks series was entertaining
Hornets/Mavs was fun
Pistons/Sixers was fun
Cavs/Celtics is going to be entertaining
Lakers/Jazz will be entertaining
These playoffs have been terrible!

Most of the games have been high quality, the problem is the series havent been close and the better teams tend to pull away at the end.
Actually, the biggest problem is homecourt and how big it is in the NBA. Most of the games you know whos gonna win despite how good it is, if the game is close at the end the home team has won like 95% of the time this postseason besides that Houston/Utah game.
I think in the game 4's this trend may change, but then some of the series will only go 5 and people will still complain so what can you do. The cream rise to the top.

At least it looks like a few exciting teams are going on to the Conference Finals and Finals. None of those usual boring teams (Pistons, Spurs, Cavs). The Hornets-Lakers and Celtics-Pistons series seem promising. And if the Pistons don't make it to the Finals, then we might actually get to watch a fun Finals.

who cares? every series can't be fun and exciting..when does that ever happen?..there are great games and some great series..not every game and series can be a classic..
I've never been bored while watching a basketball game..I just cheer for my team..when they're eliminated, I cheer against other teams..when there are 2 teams that I don't care about, I don't watch..what's the point in complaining? they're trying to win a title, not entertain you..

First round series typically don't go to 7 games. As for the second round, 2-1 is as close as a series can be after 3 games. I don't think there's a problem. We've just been spoiled by the competitive regular season.
