Another Career Cut short

Post#1 » by Pats19andO » Sat May 10, 2008 7:13 pm

Xu Yong, probably the best draft prospect out of China sice Yao, was diagnosed with bone cancer. It has ended his career and possibly take his life. My hopes to you, Xu.

I am not a cancer expert or a doctor, but from what I've heard through past experiences, blood* cancer is very very difficult to cure. I've never heard of this guy but I hope he beats this thing.

*edit: meant bone cancer

It's good that he has bone cancer then.

Jonathan Bender part deuce. Except, we won't even have a chance to see him play. Heard this guy has massive amounts of talent. Best wishes to him

If anyone cares, Xu Yong is doing just fine, the reports of the cancer was a false alarm, it was discovered to be nothing more than a cyst. They say he'll be perfectly ready for the Olympics.
