I'd go to NYK. Bottom line is this roster isn't the roster he's working with on Opening Night, so why worry? If things take a year or two, or three, it's fine, as long as he's doing his part, he should be fine.

On top of that, when he's retired, accepting that bigger contract pays off.

I would've taken the money too, no one really expects the Knicks to be any good and he might end up with Ricky Rubio the next year, where as if he chose the Bulls expectations would be very high and if the Bulls sucked again DA would've been exposed.

Would have gone Knicks. Better owner, GM, draft pick, wooing of FA, willingness to spend all goes to NY and if neither team is competing for the title, take the money. And remember, Chicago never officially offered him the job.
