that's about it so far so take your pick from that.

Out of this list here is the order on which I would most like to least like as our coach.

1. Tom Thibodeau
2. Paul Silas
3. Eddie Johnson
4. Dan Majerle

I do not want Jeff Van Gundy or Doug Collins on our sidelines. Nor do I want Avery Johnson.

^^^ that's the exact same order I have. Except for some reason Eddie Johnson really intrigues me....

The thing is, it's pretty clear this team is pinning it's future on Amare. If they're going to be wise about it, they need a guy who's going to get thru to him. As I understand it, Eddie Johnson is fairly close to Amare. That's one big positive that arises from a Johnson hiring.

I would have no problem with EJ as our coach. Seems to me that there is no one that knows this team better than he does right now.

As long as we are posting our orders, I will put my down.
1. Tom Thibodeau
2. Paul Silas
3. Terry Porter
4. Mario Elie
5. Eddie Johnson
6. Gar Heard
7. Michael Cooper

I say we try to get one of my top four. I think Eddie would be willing to be an assistant.

Tom T or Paul Silas here. I like Eddie Johnson as an analyst but I'd also worry about his emphasis with defense or lack there of. He's always praising Amare though, Stat's ego would be past the moon if EJ became head coach.

Tom T, Silas, trade Barbosa for a good 1st round pick or proven # 2/3 guy (sign Pietrus?) pick a backup PG or future center in this year's draft with the 15th pick. If Mike D goes to the Bulls or the Knicks trade his boy Barbosa right with him. Maybe he'll take Diaw since he's the one who signed off on his contract. Diaw for Nocioni or Diaw for David Lee and Balkman. Sign me up for either of those and call it an offseason.

I don't get why everyone's so high on Paul Silas? He couldn't even get the Bobcats job and he didn't work out in Cleveland. If someone could enlighten me on his merits, that'd be great.

^^BH, I think it's 's partly a case of what potential coaching candidates are available right now number 1, but also Silas is not afraid to get in players faces and demand accountability (Barbosa, Amare), and he'd also I believe place a big emphasis on both Defense and Rebounding.

Of the names floating around out there I like him more than our former players (Majerle, EJ, although....I'd like Majerle as an assistant) or Avery, Fratello, etc...

More or less he's a definite change from Dantoni which I think alot of us would like to see at this point due to various reasons.

Diaw for Lee and Balkman would freaking rock.

Whats the Big deal with D'Antoni leaving.

I thought Steve Nash was the coach anyways.

Stein mentioned today that Silas is a candidate for the job.
