The regular season was certainly one big manic period, starting from about the time of "the trade". Feelings of euphoria, happiness, and indestructibility were common place. But since the playoffs started I find myself alternating on a very particular timetable in and out of manic and depressive episodes. My most recent depressive state began today.
I can't help but feel that a road win would most likely break the cycle and put me into a constant manic stage till mid June sometime.

I feel ya brotha! This team makes me so happy at times and on the other hand pisses me off to no end at times. I swear, when they are on the road it is a totally different team. Home court helps, but when you have a team with talent like Boston...there is no way to they should be so bad on the road.
I turned the game off when Perk got that Off rebound, made a spin move then air mailed a 5 foot jumper with 20 on the shot clock. At that point we were down 12. You just don't see other players on other teams doing that. Lack of player experience and definetly lack of coaching experience. I could go on all day!!
One last thing, they destroyed us at the PG position. Cassell can't play D and Rondo has no offense and or confidence on the road. If we don't win game 4 we are in trouble!

That is why, I take my heart out of individual games when I know they're going to lose. Not because I'm not a good fan (I've been a fan many years, watched 90% of the games this decade) but because of examples in this thread. I do tend to get the same way, I turned the game off in the first quarter and knew it was over. I would check nba.com for score updates and see we made a little progress, then see the Cavs make it a 20 pt lead again.
If we don't win game 4......I certainly won't be paying attention to any sports for a couple days.
