I will just add and make some changes/comments to Mylies. I think Monta will get a bigger payday than Biedrins imo. So Ellis gets the 5yr over 50+million and Biedrins gets the 4yr deal at 42/45+. Both players get individual performance incentives.
I think they will explore trades to deal MP and Harrington. Maybe we could do a MP sign and trade for 2008 mid first rounder??? For Barnes I think he should try out for the Raiders or Niners as a wideout....joking of course but seriously I think Barnes could be dealt. I think Buki will come back if Nelly is still here.
If we got Mike Miller for the Jrich TPE, we don't need Harrington imo. That would be sweet if got Miller and kept Harrington though.
I'd rather try to get Duhon or Jose Manuel Calderon. In terms of free agents, I want Ryan Gomes or Leon Powe.
For the draft, I'd take Arthur or Greene at #14. If we got another first rounder I'd take CDR over Rush.
My second round sleeper will Jr Giddens-He reminds me of Caron Butler or Sonny Weems-Andre Iguodala...I"ll take my chances with an athletic SG in the second round over some project big man.

With the news of the Baron extension talks looking bad... the W's have more incentive to deal Baron... Rick Carlisle would certainly prefer a PG whos re-signed than a 35 year old guy on an expiring deal with no replacement in sight... The pieces are all coming together
A good draft for the W's (IE - getting Love/Arthur) would get me psyched...
Baron + Al + Kosta
for
Kidd + Howard + Bass +2nd
What a 4 guard/wing combo... Kidd/Tay/Jax/Howard... Bringing in Love would be ideal then.
Draft:
Love
Hardin
JaMont Gordon (likin him more and more lately)
Kidd (30) / Tay ( 18 )
Tay ( 18 ) / Jax (25) / Beli (5) / JaMont
Howard (35) / Jax (5) / Wright ( 8 )
Wright (20) / Bass ( 18 ) / Biedrins (10)
Biedrins (23) / Love (20) / Hardin (5)

Don't extend or trade Baron (let him play for his 17.8 Mil).
Resign Monta and Biedrens giving them a player option at the end of the 3rd year (Monta 7 Million first year, Biedrens 8 Mil, with max raises for each of them the following 2).
Trade Al + Jack + p/o TPE for Marion and Blount (use TPE for Blount). 2009 #1 pick, but it would have to be conditional on Marion resigning (if we don't resign him, then the pick to Miami becomes our #2).
If Jack gets moved, then resign Pietrus for less than MLE (3 Mil).
Resign Barnes (1-2 Mil) and resign Bukie for 2-3 Mil.
Resign Cro for 1-1.5 Mil
Pickup either Carlos Arroyo or Keyon Dooling for p/o MLE (1.5-2 Mil).
Biedrens/Blount (he actually might do well with Nellie, he likes to shoot from the outside)/Perovic
Marion/Wright/Croshere
Pietrus/Barnes/Belinelli
Ellis/Bukie/Belinelli
Baron/Ellis/Dooling or Arroyo
I'd like this roster but more importantly I think Nellie would.
Draft pick(s) (if we keep it) - don't care
We could lose any of Pietrus/Bukie/Barnes and I'd be ok with that too if there's any cap issues. I'm sure we could find replacements.
I make both Marion and Baron play for contracts next year if I could pull it off (that's how I can insure that they go all out). If it works out, then the Dubs should be in a much better position the following year to extend one or both of them, but if not and they have good years, then they'll both be in good positions to get a good deal elsewhere. I think this could be potentially a "win-win" for all.
This what I would do if I had my druthers.
edit: I forgot Blount (maybe it was subconsciously intentional)
edit2: If they preferred Pietrus and didn't want Jack, then we'd S & T Pete and keep Jack (this would hurt our cap a bit, but should be ok), then the lineup would be:
Biedrens/Blount/Perovic (we might have to send him to Miami under this scenerio, maybe Bukie goes too)
Marion/Wright/Croshere
Jack/Barnes/Belinelli
Ellis/Bukie/Belinelli
Baron/Ellis/Dooling or Arroyo

1) Give Monta Ellis and Biedrens frontloaded contracts. 55 mil each. 15 mil the first year flat 6-7 after.
2) Use the exemption to get Malik Rose and Balkman from New York.
3) Offer Baron Davis a one year extension.
4) Draft a Love or Lee is available in the draft.
5)Sign Crushure, Buke, Barnes , Watson to vet minimum contracts.
6) Find some more developmental players
7) Thank Cohan for paying an extra 20 million in luxury tax to be competive for years to come and financially free.
