jordan farmar is suckin it up!!! the lakers shoulda traded him and held on to critt.
we should find a better back up pg in the offseason!

Farmar pretty much hit the sophmore wall mid way through the season. If we're going to go far, he has to start hitting shots again.

Missing shots is one thing. Playing selfish, stupid basketball is something else. Farmar better get his act together in a hurry. We need him playing smart basketball, and giving a damn when he plays defense.

I hope he gets out of this slump soon because we can use him now the way Utah plays at home but keeping Jordan and trading Critt, i dont think it's the end of the world.

farmar is letting deron blow pass him way too easily..he needs to step up his game and at least show he gives a damn..its frustrating to watch him play...yeah hes hitting his slump, but that dont mean he gotta hog, not play D, and play horrible basektball...the last couple weeks, hes on the same level as kwame brown..

critt woulda at least tried on D and played like he give a damn..

he is 1 for 27 or something like that in this series.

What pisses me off is that he does not look to pass the ball to open teammates, thats what gets me.

When you're in the playoffs you can't really wait to ride out a slump, and naturally people become impatient and start making poor decisions anyway. What's important is for the Lakers to make sure this doesn't continue to effect his game so that he plays like this beyond his current difficulties.

But yeah you'd think that he'd look to move the ball around more... considering he's a point guard.

YES!!!! he misses sooo many open guys. Even Hubie brown points it out alot. The guy needs to stop stressing about missing his shots and find his teamates, D up, foul, or do somethin! he's the invisible man out there.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Farmar hasn't played well since we traded Javaris away which basically cemented Farmar's rotation spot. He was good when he had some young kid nipping at his heels for his spot on the roster. But now that that competition is gone, Farmar has gotten complacent again and is playing NBADL type basketball. The worst part is he lost his confidence. He's playing like a fragile rookie out there, and it is horrible. We don't have time to coddle our players this late in the season. If he can't perform, Phil should give his minutes away. I'd be more than happy to give his minutes to sasha and luke.

IMO he costed us games 3 and 4, especially today, he couldnt have been worse, just look at his +/- stats.
I would use sasha as the backup PG at least for the rest of the series.

Well one point that you miss is that he saves his energy for the offensive end, thats why he does not play any D at all. Hence, you need someone on your team to shoot bricks and not get the rest of the team involved right?

Or am I wong here .... if the shot is not working he can play D and find open teammats?

This is a hard one ... :wink:
