That's funny, I love the draft lottery, I think it's one of the places the NBA really has an edge over other sports, and I'm a Jazz fan and have only seen the Jazz really be in the lottery once, and they got screwed.
The Celtics have had Duncan taken away and Oden or Durant, so my feelings are probably a little different than other fans. I heard reports that Portland and Seattle were looking at moving and then they get the top 2 picks. It makes me very suspicious. It has to be done live or get rid of it entirely.

are you saying the league purposefully "screwed" one of their greatest, if not the greatest, franchises in favor of two small market teams, one who is probably going to move anyway? if you have those type of suspicions, despite the least bit of supporting evidence, why are u even a fan of this league?

I have my suspicions but I never stated it as fact. It's very simple. You put 50 balls in a tank, pull them out one by one, and it can take 10 minutes to do it live. It can be done live very easily. There are many things about the NBA I despise, but I do enjoy watching good basketball.

Instead of instilling a salary cap to try and make 30 teams competitive, they should cut down on the teams in the league. We are extending ourselves to thin.
I'd rather the NBA put a hard salary cap. Watching so many teams be competitive at once would be great to see. That only expands fanbases as it would be much harder for one team to have a dynasty. You would also have sixteen competitive teams from BOTH conferences. It's why I love football more than baseball.
Another thing I'm surprised no one mentioned that I'm on the line on is conferences. East/West or NBA/ABA type conferences?
And another thing I'm surprised no one mentioned that I'm okay with, but seems to pop up on this forum is throwing out the wait period to trade someone after he's been traded for. I believe it's 90 days? I could be wrong. Anyway, surprised that hasn't been mentioned.

fire stu jackson and every official and replace them with ones who have never reffed in the NBA before.
Get rid of David Stern and force Clay Bennett to sell the sonics and give him an expansion team.
remove blocking and charging calls.
Fine and suspend Manu Ginobili relentlessly until he stops flopping.
Kick Bruce Bowen out of the league the next time he mysteriously lands under the shooter's ankles
Ban Jeff Van Gundy from ever announcing a game again.
and start a competition committee to overview trades and make sure they are fair. (ie Garnett would still be in Minnesota unless the celtics gave up Paul Pierce and Gasol wouldn't be on the Lakers)
