Wiretap: Chinese Star career likely over

Post#1 » by Guy986 » Sat May 10, 2008 7:37 pm

WTF kind of headline is that. Who the hell is responsible for this ****? Its obviously an attention getter aimed at causing massive fear among Houston fans like myself. Realgm, this is just unbelievably irresponsible. As a rocket fan who has just recently recovered from yao's out of the blue season ending injury, this almost gave me a heartattack. I demand proper compensation in the sum of 1 Million dollar on behalf of all Rocket fans or..... stop trying to be funny and assign proper title to the news. Is that so much to ask?

and what the hell is up with people laughing at the guy who now has cancer and could die from it?

If it was Yao, they would have said so. It's not misleading in any way.

I actually thought it was Yi for a second. It wouldn't have been surprising to me either.

Yao is more than big enough to not be labeled as "Chinese star". Yao's earned a name. The star in question is a star in China and was regarded as a likely NBA draft pick in the future. I don't think the headline is too far off and pretty accurate. No one knows him by name, but they know he's a Chinese basketball star.

Try reading the topics being jumping to conclusions. Why would you rely on Realgm to even keep up with your local players. That's what the local papers are for!

Also, I have noticed that many of the titles are from the actual writer or are taken from within the article. No reason to make them into something like so many of you do.
