It's ONE SINGLE FAN, I dont like the gesture at all but honestly, you cant take it that serious. Has no one ever laughed at a off color joke? whether it be a Racist, Jesus, dead baby or any bad joke? It's not as bad as a bad chant IMO, because a chant takes quite a few people to get it going. But their are tools all over in this world, its not utah exclusive.

I've been to several Jazz games both in and outside of Utah. I hear far more bigoted nonsense in arenas outside of Utah (about the team, the state, and the Mormons") than I ever have in Utah.
If the fan was doing what some are claiming he did, he's an idiot, and over 99% of Jazz fans would agree.
If the blow-up doll offends your sensibilities, you need to loosen that tie a little. Unbelievable.

Chubby Chaser wrote:It shows true classlessness when Jazz Fans are trying to make excuses to cover up the situation. Or they brush it off as "heckling" when this clearly goes above and beyond the realms of what a decent human being would do. Unbelievable if you ask me.
I just re-read the thread to make sure. I have seen nobody on any side make any defence for this guy's action (in fact there's been nothing but condemnation from Jazz fans), and the only one who has come anything close to "brushing it off as heckling" is a Nets fan.
You may want to get your facts straight before you continue up this path.

This right there pretty much sums up what is going on here.
BTW Chubby Chaser, probably you aren't going to apologize for your comments, because you have to much class for that... right?

Just logged on and read over this thread. It's being locked, and here is your explanation...

Great. Somebody found a picture of an idiot doing something idiotic.
Jazz fans did not do it. A Jazz fan did it. Not one other person has supported or excused it. Can we stop the blanket bashing of Jazz fans, please? (And the comment about "multiple wives" was completely inappropriate.)
Come on, now. I mean, I heard that a Lakers fan was charged with misdemeanour vandalism and assault after threatening someone else with a golf club, then trashing his car with it. Here's a picture of the maniac:

Should we therefore draw conclusions that Lakers fans are violent sociopaths? Deplore the act, abhor the person who did it. And ONLY the person who did it. Don't bring the fanbase into it, please.
