LL, I agree with you about our team, but we're talking about the Knicks here, and I don't see Curry getting up the court or playing into the type of system Mike is know for. Zach will do well for the first half of the system, but the Knicks don't have the heart Phoenix has, and Mike will probably figure that out before the season even starts.
It's a situation that could possibly hurt Mike's rep pretty badly or he has the opportunity to be a top 5 coach. The probably is, it's not up to him, and he must trust his players (ha).

He's not a good fit in New York, unless Stephon decides to start acting like a man again (chances of that are about 3%). He would have been great in Chicago, and great here, with a chance to turn either team into a finals contender within a few years with the right personnel moves. New York will take 6 or 7 years to recover from Isaiah.

No one is a good fit here. I don't know of any coach that specializes in turning bench players with bad attitudes that don't have complentary skills into a functioning team.
Honestly, they have one player that would be a quality starter on most teams and he comes off the bench.

Mike D'Antoni.....
I think a lot of the successes he enjoyed in Phoenix was, in part, because of a player by the name of Steve Nash....period.
If Nash doesn't re-sign with Phoenix, D'Antoni is either a asst. coach in the league or coaching somewhere in Europe. And he doesn't look like the offensive genius he does now. Don't get me wrong, he revolutionized the game with that 'run and gun' style, but the timing could not have been more perfect.
D'Antoni should break Nash and Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo off half of that $24 million....because without that piece, the Suns are maybe...MAYBE a .500 team. Colangelo put D'Antoni in a position to win....and win like hell. I don't know if that's the case in NYC.
