I don't remember BC being fired, I remember him bolting during the season for a job that payed him more. Hiring Mike D as GM was just a bandaid where BC had cut the team.

You are also wrong in saying people dislike Sarver for the basketball decisions, they dislike him because they think he is cheap. Which is not the case. By the way, the NBA has the same TV deal now that they had when Jerry owned the team.

And if they dislike him for his decisions, that is fine, but he is not the one making the decisions. For example, if he says we can use our picks and will then have X minus the picks to spend on FA's. Due to the cap, the tax and simple economimcs. or we can sell our picks and have X plus 3 million to spend on FA's. So if you dislike the philosophy of selling picks and not developing players hate on MIKE D and BC. Last I checked, Kerr added 2 rooks to the roster in his first off season.
