LeBron's Mom

Post#1 » by Andris » Tue May 13, 2008 4:07 am

Wow, LeBron's Mom was very intense tonight.
It's the playoffs, baby!
Mom tried to challenge Pierce and Garnett.... :D
I know it's late, but Happy Mother's Day!
GSW fan since the Joe Barry Carroll years...

I was embarrassed for her. Im betting Garnett, Pierce, and LeBron all probably got a little tipsy just standing near her.

Maybe her drunkeness helped to keep them down (I know that is wrong). One DUI doesn't make you a drunk. Oh well, she was not having it with someone fouling her boy.

People think I'm kidding though. The Cleveland crowd would riot if LeBron really got injured in a play like that. It might actually put the player that caused the injury to be in jeopardy.

I thought she was a random fan screaming something at LeBron and then LeBron yelled back. I was like, yeah Lebron tell her to shut the hell up, lol, sorry LeBron's mom.

One DUI may not make her a drunk, but having bottles of liquor stashed under her seat at the Q does. I know I shouldnt be so mean with her, but she seriously needs to get her life in check. That woman is literally sauced before she even shows up to games.

at least tonight, she did not go after kg and pp like she went after roy hall when lebron was in high school...that night, she was on the court and ready to fight hall before lebron had to grab her - it could have been worse

Good to know someone's got his back. I'm not sure the team does at times.

 I understand her reaction, it's pure instinct to a mother, also the Lebron scold was natural. Also I don't care how many empty bottles she had under her seat,

many children of alcoholic parents develop defensive aggression or passive resistance, or take recourse to some other inappropriate patterns of defensive behavior, like whining. Their negative self-image, rendered even more somber by the feeling of shame caused by the alcoholism of their parents, only adds to their whininess and tendency to travel. They have no opportunity to learn how to cope with anxiety and depression. Encouraged by the disinhibiting effects of alcohol, they find it easier to enter the world outside their family borders in search of relief and self-assertion (Berlin, Davis, & Orenstein, 1988).

While I find your post amusing, your sig is trolling.

I was just thinking the other day how nice it was to read intelligent discussions during a series from the Boston fans unlike the lunacy provided by Wiz fans. Now I'm sure there's a conspiracy by Stern to have the Wiz not be in the lottery and make them play the Cavs every first round just so we don't have to hear from them and their fans so much. Nice job Commish for sending them to playoff purgatory. If anyone doesn't understand why, then this post should show you.

Jeez, I didn't even realize that was another Wiz fan. Although I probably should have since there was the traveling reference and inherent whininess in the post. They just never go away.

well to be fair, there's not much to do for a wizard fan once the real playoffs start except pressing F5 on Gilbert's Blog and posting on successful team's message boards..
