most flawed voting?
which award has the most flawed voting system?..
MVP- there's always the argument every year..there's always the question of whether or not the award should focus more on the individual player's value to his team, or more on team success..
DPOY- this was has become a joke with the awarding of Marcus Camby..this award seems to go to the stats, except this year, which was given because KG plays in Boston(I think he deserved it a 100%, but Duncan has done what KG did in years past and didn't get it..so I believe if KG didn't play for a big market team and wasn't an MVP candidate, he wouldn't have received the award..see: Camby)..
6th man- there's the controversy of legitimacy..there's always the question of whether or not guys like Manu, Barbosa, Stackhouse should get it..guys that play a much bigger role than the award gives them credit for..
COTY- this award seems to usually go to the coach of a team that has improved tremendously, or sets a record for wins..this award doesn't usually go to the best coach of that year IMO..at the same time, you could probably make the argument that the MVP award is similar..

It's a real shame TD hasnt gotten it, he's anchored one of the top defenses of the league since he came in.
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Coach of the year is just hard to evaluate. We don't get to see much of the coaching directly. The voters are probably no better informed. It's become a team success award, but who knows, maybe the winner deserves it. Not enough info.
On the other hand, the all-defense teams are pretty terrible every year. DPOY redeemed itself at least a little this season. I'm sure many voters vote well, but as a whole they trend towards terrible selections.

and when you want to beat MAVS, all you have to do is contain DIRK,
and when you want to beat SPURS, you have to shut down TP+MANU:
TP+MANU HAD
60, 50, 60, ... pts against suns, and just check the last game they had 62 pts against hornet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
give TP AND MANU TO DIRK, MAVS COULD WIN at least 72 games...
SPURS HAS A BIG 3!!!!!!!!!! and its the best big 3 of the league. Manu can do everything, he can flop, and every little things to bring a win. he played with injuries this year, and he's still a little injured. Without MANU spurs isn't a threat... just ask suns and mavs' fans.

He ain't even the best defender on our frontcourt, and we're the freakin' Enver Nuggets
lol, the number of block doesn't realy mean anything, i said that, and nobody believed me.
for instance, Yao is a good defenser, he can protect the paint, because he's that huge, even he blocks less than Camby, but he can shut down HOWARD cause his size. Other reason yao has less blocks is opponent players don't go often under the paint to score, in such way, the block possibility goes down.
Who's the best defender of nuggets?
just one advise, get MANU, nuggets can be better!

Man on man, Nene and Kenyon are better and more versatile defenders than him. Najera is more limited, but he outhustle MC too. Camby just gamble for blocks, never leaves the paint, never defends a screen or a P&R. Any big man with more than a 3-feet-range jumpshot can spend the whole night shooting open, Camby won't be near him.
On the backcourt, I don't know, maybe Khouba or Bobby Jones. Our rotation players (AC, JR, Melo, AI, Kleiza) don't have any defensive instincts. Melo, JR and LK are athletic enough and AI is fast enough to do a good job when they actually try (not too often) and AC tries but he's a totally inept (old, slow, short and he doesn't have the insticts or the b-ball IQ at this level), plus Genius Karl can assign him Vladimir "I-Have-Like-A-Feet-On-That-33-Years-Old-CBA-Player" Radmanovic on Playoffs.
And as much as I HATE him, I would kill to have Manu on our team, but that's not easy to do...
Oh s**t, my mom told me not to feed the troll but...
