I think Magic Johnson may have made the Conf Finals like 9 out of his 1st 10 years. I know Magic played us in the NBA finals 3 of his 1st 4 years in the league.

Are we watching the same player? Tayshaun's face is in a constant state of whinge-face. He complains on every play. I respect his basketball abilities, but he is one of the worst in the league at complaining IMO.

Tay is the man, no doubt. It's been an absolute pleasure watching him "blossom"

Tay complains sometimes, and more often than not he has reason to. I don't get how that equates into him being one of the worst complainers in the league.

Tayshaun has done so much in his 6 years in the league and yet he doesn't pad his stats, so he often gets overlooked and underappreciated.

No one has ever claimed that Prince is one of the greatest of all time, but he's a damn good player on a championship team who does everything asked of him without the glory or stature lesser guys obtain, on bad teams, doing much less. :nonono:

^ Never said he wasn't a good player, but 'never whines to the refs' is just completely inaccurate. He whines constantly.

Completely inaccurate as well. :)

Tayshaun complains as much as any other player, far less than most, hardly constantly.

I think Tayshaun is preceived as a complainer because the Pistons are a team that has a rep of complaining, even when they don't.

Much as I love Tay, I agree with MartyConlon. He complains a LOT. He does his version of the Tim Duncan face after every call, with his gigantic pterodactyl arms spread out like "What did I do?"

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

The Prince just does what needs to be done in order for his team to win when it counts.
