NBA anomalies...

What are the season long anomalies that just stand out when you look back in retrospect...

Let me give you some examples...

TD shooting 80% from the FT line...

Spree being an all NBA first teamer...

The Sonics in 2005... being Northwest champs and reaching the 2nd round.

The Hornets being the Southwest champs and getting to the 2nd round (and possibly more)

I actually think the Bulls falling from being the second-best (some say best) team in the Eastern Conference to one of the worst is a huge anomaly.

that sonics team was pretty decent and nate mcmillian is one of the better coaches in the league.

their nosedive after he left shows how good he really is.

The Sonics were actually pretty good that season. Its just that the next season they gave up everything that made them good, bringing them to where they are now.

Well he was arguably the best..or one of the best. I remember people used to think he was better than Kobe (and he was). Now? Not so much..
