If the Knicks were to sign Boki, then they'd have to use the mid-level exception.

Can you use the MLE to sign someone to a 2 year deal? I don't think you can. If that's the case, then the Knicks won't touch him.

Are you asking if the MLE could be used for more than one year? The answer is yes for a total of 5 seasons.

The sad part is, the days he decided to show up were some of the better games the Nets have had this season. Him playing as bad as he did this season is a key factor in the way things turned out

That's not necessarily because of Nachbar's play -- it was because there was a scoring option not named Harris, Carter or RJ. Same with Boone -- when he had big games, the team looked pretty good. We ask too much of too few players...When 3 guys have to do it all, your team is gonna suck...which is why the Nets sucked.
Walk away from this ASAP.

Why didn't we go after D'antoni and drop that deadweight Frank? We have the players to succeed in a run and gun system. Devon Harris, RJ, Sean Williams, Nachbar apparently. Also if we're supposedly making a push for Lebron when he's a FA, wouldn't having D'Antoni help that since New York's braggin that Lebron wants to play for him? Where was Kiki on that one?

D'Antoni doesn't appear to have a clue about getting his guys to play some defense, but then again........

thats obviously why he left...it has nothing to do with his trust...he saw green and the West as being a tough nut to crack from a Sun's perspective...
