Duncan's had his 20/10 game just he got the stats round the wrong way...
Paul has turned it around in the second half.
Really running out of time. Need a big run out of this timeout...

Well game five didn't look any different from game one and two.

Badly blown oppurtunity

Just didn't match them over the course of the game

I still believe were capable of winning on the road, though

this has been a very frustrating series if your a Spurs fan. For some reason in games 1 & 2 in NO the Spurs just lost the game in the 3rd quarter. They play well enough to win the game until the 3rd quarter. Both games 3 & 4 in SA they play well enough to win the game, they play a full 48 mins. In this game, shades of games 1 & 2. This game was just like watching any of the first 2 games in NO.

Bottom line. Spurs deserve to be in this position, facing elimination at home in game 6. Win or go home. I hope they win and send it to a game 7. If they lose the game 7, at least it shows pride. If they lose game 6, they deserve to and the Hornets have earned this series.

You can't play 2 quarters and come out and get routed like that. They can play better than that, they are the defending NBA champs.

Still....can't help but think why they lose control of all games on the Hornets homecourt in the 3rd quarter. Hope it doesn't happen in San Antonio in game 6. :banghead:

so I say again, Spurs can only blame themselves for this 2-3 hole.

That game pissed me off. With all the adjustments, all the momentum, all the experience...we come out and have ANOTHER 3RD QUARTER like that?!? Inexcusable. We'll see how we do with our backs against the wall, but that was just a golden opportunity wasted.

I don't understand why we even take the court in the 3rd Qtr. We should just take an extended half-time.

Yeah it's getting ridiculous. We can't even run a play. It's just turnover, jacked three off balance, turnover, shotclock violation, turnover, jacked three. C'mon Pop let's get these guys sorted out.
