I know most of us have been thinking these things.
I def think Posey needs to start and the Cs need to exploit Wally Z as he is a defensive liability.
UBUNTU!

Kinda dumb article by SG. He spent all season verbally blowing KG and *NOW* he takes him to task? He is also an irrational Doc-hater and a frontrunning C's fan (at least this season)...he alternates between euphoria when things are going well and suicidal depression when they aren't.
Meh.
Meh.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

End of thread...spot on.
Simmons loves guys when things are hot and hates them when we hit rough patch. Simmons=frontrunning C's fan.
I don't care how long the guy has been a "fan", he's a frontrunner!

If there's another sportswriter who has a better beat on the way this Cavs series is going, it would be my pleasure to read it. Why not link for all of us to enjoy?
Maybe if all those Simmons critics could cite examples that support their bias, or at least express their bias in an interesting way, they too could write about basketball on the internet... for a living.

Great article, he was right about everything. It is just too bad that this wasn`t written in a "serious tone", so it would actually be taken more seriously by the public.
Can someone explain to me why there are never any analytical, critical articles in the Boston media? At least what I can read online?
I see no indepth analysis of games, no one is breaking down the teams problems, deficiencies in detail. In Europe the articles after the last game in Cleveland would be completely different, way more critical and analytical. The coach would be on the hot seat, his weaknesses, decisions dissected, as well as individual players performances.
I really don`t understand that. Is it like this in other sports also?

17 will not be won with the Big 3 Chokers (KG,Pierce, Allen).
how can you even say that, has Doc put these guys in a situation to succeed? Has he taken advatage of the missmatches. DOc MAIN problem is that he is not an instigator he reacts while he should be forceing the Cavs to adjust to us the more superior team.
two rounds and he has been outcoached by anything but the titans of the coaching ranks. Wait until he runs up against an actual coach. This team will get creamed.

Has Pierce played remotely well? Does he take it to the hoop? Is he taking too many bad, contested shots? Is Ray not hitting his shots?
See, you can use your approach to put it on the players...coaching is overrated...yes you need a good coach, but you need good players to execute, and Pierce in particular has been a flop.

Ask yourself this.
You don't think Phil Jackson or POP would get these guys better shots, isolate the Cavs weakest link and exploit it? God we have D west on PP and we don't post him up, he tries to tke hjim off the dribble. The first thing PP should do is go down to he post and abuse DWEST.
Your telling me that 3-20plus carreer scorers are all of a sudden unable to score. It is this god awful offese we are running. We need to push the pace and take advatage of Rondo in th eopen court and KG's athleticism as well as get PP and Ray easy buckets. THIS is coaching 101 something Doc failed.

As i said (somewhere) before the playoffs began, DJToLarry, the C's would be in great shape if only they'd bring in another coach as the 'closer' for the playoffs. Could be Danny, an assistant, I don't care, go one step beyond the Simmons piece and let Posey run things. Only problem is human nature, egos and pride don't allow for it. Oh well.

Head. Meet. Nail.
And when someone like Wally is guarding Ray Allen, you know what play Glenn Rivers runs? A one-on-one iso with Ray trying to take Wally off the dribble. Even though Ray is able to beat Wally easily, all that does is collapse Wallace and Big Z on him.
I'm so frustrated right now.
