And how about Chauncey Billups, Joe Johnson, Bruce Bowen, Ben Wallace (stretching it a little), Brandon Roy, Jeff Green.

At least under Pitino for awhile we drunk his koolaid and we had hope even if we didnt understand any of his trades or signings.

Remember ML Carr's first season as coach. Our payroll was shot. We were still scratching our heads over why the hell Eric Montross was drafted ahead of Eddie Jones. Our best player was Dino Radja (ahh.. the good old days playing him on an early version of NBA Live). Those were sorry times.

I guess what this post is about is to realize even though were all getting soo mad about the playoffs to realize what we have right now is special, its taken us 20 years to get here and weve went through soo many bad teams. Whether you hate Doc Rivers, Kevin Garnett or even Paul Pierce just realize were in a situation to win a championship, we might be tied in the 2nd round but we still have a chance, we still have homecourt and we may not see this again for 20 years!

Now Ill still be complaining about various things the next few weeks but just remember while you vent out your anger to just ENJOY the rest of this season, you never know when the next Jiri Welsch will show up

Dude, thanks for the thread. It's good reminder of where the Celts have been. Your latest round of posts have aggravated the crap out of me, but we are all fans after all. Thanks for the reminder. I'd rather see people bellyaching about the playoffs than the lottery.

Can you believe he is 44 years old now.

I just can't wait until Ben Pepper finally suits up for the green. Anyone hear if he will be in camp this year? ;)

I think I have a holo-card of him somewhere. I do know that I have a Dino card. It's fun to look at and laugh.
