It has to be BOS. Going into tonights game I'm already down knowing I have to watch this team again on the road. And there will be no drop off from CLE's defense to DET.
Then you top it all off with the only real weakness of DET's is a strong SF and you have the god of that type of player in LeBron...
And I can't see any other reason other then revenge that DET would want BOS in the ECF.

There were threads on the Detroit board literally celebrating when they found out LeBron was on the other side of the Eastern bracket.

WHAAAT? Thread(s)? That didn't happen.
Personally, I'd rather play Cleveland, because 1) Boston is better and 2) Last year sucked and I'd like to erase it from my memory.
PS Yeah, we were happier to play Orlando than the Cavs, but you can't substitute "Boston" for "Orlando" in that statement.

(EDIT) No name-calling.

Boston really hasn't done much this postseason to separate themselves from Cleavelend. So to say that Boston is better than the Cavs would be a moron thing to say.

Hello King Hyperbole, nice to meet you.
Of course we preferred that the Cavs and Celtics beat each other up before the Pistons had to face either one of them, but celebrating? There wasn't a single thread devoted specifically to that topic whatsoever.
Find me a fan that says, "I want my team to face all the teams that play my team the toughest" and I'll show you a bridge I've got for sale.

Which, of course, is a lot different than "put the crack pipe down moron", bad punctuation and all.
I marvel at the rudeness of people these days.

Either series will go 7 games.
The Cavs know how to beat the Pistons, but the Pistons won't sleep on them like last year, so that'll be a great series.
Boston vs. Detroit will just be epic. Allen chasing around Rip all game, Pierce vs. Prince, Sheed vs. Garnett, Billups vs. Rondo, young, energetic bench vs. an older, experienced bench. the individual match ups are incredible. And then you bring in the fact that Boston has the old vets hungry for the rings and Detroit has the chip on its shoulder of being overshadowed all year by Boston, it has all the great makings of an incredible, close series.

Wow, great post, man. That last paragraph gave me goosebumps. That series will be legendary if it happens.

The only thing that we celebrated was that Cleveland and Boston had to play each other and we got to play Orlando who really wasn't close to any of the other 3...
If I had my choice, I would love to play Cleveland... Homecourt, revenge factor, and Ben Wallace playing for Cleveland is enough for me to want to see it... Either series would be a toss up IMO...
Hopefully, the Pistons can jump on Boston in game 1 (Provided they win this series) and than hold court at home... That would be our best bet
