Raja Bell's trade value

Post#1 » by cdel00 » Wed May 14, 2008 7:21 pm

Hi Suns faithful,

I was wondering about Raja's trade value in terms of the type / position of player that would work in your future plans.

He's a good offensive player. I'd take him on my team.

Backup PG, C or defensive SF IMO.

IF i was moving him, I'd look to CLE for Delonte West. They can start Raja at the 2, bring Gibson into the starting lineup...

Draft a 2 at #15 or see if Hill can handle it and draft an athletic 3 point shooter

If we didnt let DA talk to TOR, I really don't see us helping them via trade either.

Now Calderon, that'd be a different story...we're not going to help TOR off the hook so they can re-sign Calderon for the same amount as Ford

And clearly TOR can get more for Calderon that that...

Raja surprisingly is good at point, has great basketball IQ, and great at defense as always.

I really am pleased at how Raja has worked out for the Suns and his work ethic is second to none.

Are there anyone else out there similar to Raja?

I think raja is untradable because he knows the sytem and he knows how to defend. I think LB should be traded because he has only regressed. He is a black hole on offense and a dumbass on defense.

Raja retires with PHX. That is unless he is traded as an expiring. There is simply no other reason to let him go. He can fit into any system. He has a great contract and he, ahead of Hill, is our best defender.

What the hell are you talking about? Raja does have good court awareness, I'll give you that, however he isn't all that great with the ball in his hands. He's slow (can't really create for himself or take a defender off the dribble), and his ball handling is marginal at best.

--- Anthony Parker: solid defensively, can hit the big three, team-first guy, great ethic. He's expiring, too.

Raja will be here next year. If anybody leaves I really believe it will only be Diaw and Barbs

Raja has shown some brilliant plays / passes during the playoffs and in the season.

He can't create for himself but he has some of the basketball IQ that allowed him to generate assists much more so than Barbosa has ever done.

Bell + 15th for Quinton Ross (S&T) + 6th?

I doubt LA will do it though.

because many of us are bored after being knocked out of the playoffs in the 1st round and have nothing better to discuss at this point in time. LOL

I should start a new thread titled. "Why don't we all guess what weight Shaq will average next year?"
