-Larry Hughes' contract year and making the all-nba defensive 1st team.
-Francis having more all-star appearances than Baron.
-Joe Johnson making the all-star team twice (although he was pretty damn good vs. BOS)
-Fatoine being a perennial all-star at one point.
-A lot of old rookies.

Matt Steigenga playing exactly 12 minutes with the Bulls in the entire season (that was his entire NBA career, too!!) and still getting a ring.

Didn't Mark "Hangin with Mr. Cooper" Curry also play in a preseason game?

And Billy Crystal and Garth Brooks in baseball?

Preseason's kind of a joke.

thats not an anomaly, look no further then the Game Maker ( Akklaim ) to know that they were a badly run company with bad mangement and bad decisions.

NBA Jam 99 was an awful game. Are we agreeing that the "bad decision" was to put Keith Van Horn on the cover?

Yes, putting Van Horn on the cover was another bad decsion by those crooks. So while agree that it was bad move... it was par for the course for them.
