Yeah, I expect a lot of activity on the Suns and Hornets board tonight, probably quite a bit of non-Spur fan traffic here as well.

I don't really think that's a dirty play

If anything it's a coincidence with Horry, and was just a basketball play. I would understand if somebody thinks there's a little extra, but I don't think so.

I agree, I think if you're a Spurs fan it was a no call. If you're a Spur hater, it was the dirtiest play you've ever seen in your life. If you're a casual unbiased observer it's questionable.

At this point, I accept that most fans hate us... nobody likes a winner that's if it's not their team. We will get a lot of crap for that one, it's whatever.

Homecourt has been the difference... but it sucks that we have to play them over there in game 7.

Agreed, and that's why I never bought into that "Home court won't matter in the West this year" thing. Homecourt ALWAYS matters unless you're a losing team where the hometown fans are more hostile toward you than the opposing teams fans.

I was a part of the crowd but this year... jeez 20-1 home record is pretty damning to my case.

Mike Breen I think aside from going with the voice tone/mood of West going down, also got caught up in thinking about Horry/Nash last year

Yeah, but if we win it ... it will be that much sweeter.

We had our chances at game 1 and game 5. Now that we have discovered trapping CP3 that gives us a way to stop the pick and roll.

I want Mo Peete, Peja and Chandler to try and beat us.

Granted he is hard to trap and it causes us to expend more energy but when Monday's game gets ugly we have to do whatever it takes.

From general board thread...

dingclancy wrote:Lol did anybody of you get the break feed during that play. Here in the Philippines we sometimes get the feed even it is supposedly a commercial brake in the U.S. so we get off the record comments from the announcers. (In short stuff that they won't say out loud).

Anyway here is what happened after the West injury--

Mark Jackson: This is the play that you need if you want to win playoff basketball.
Van Gundy: Isn't that a malicious play?
Mark Jackson: No, it is just hard playoff basketball
Breen: Horry really knows where he is.... Let us do that bit with Horry and Nash...

HA... I knew it... like I said, Mike Breen's tone had more there than just West going down. Because it was sustained for a little more after that, then settled off to more of a blow-out-game-situation mood.

Mike Breen at times has really pumped up the Suns more than he needed to the last few years... haha
