Definitely what he did to Nash was a cheap-shot, but I don't think what he did to West was THAT bad.

It was not a cheap-shot in my opinion.

He popped West better than he got Nash, and he knew he was hurt. Nash just dropped like he got sniped.

Don't really care if it was a cheap shot or not, after the fans cheered, and the players all think it was cheap, they are going to come out with a vengeance, on our home court, ready to take down the champs.

Might be the motivation we need, because it's definitely not going to be easy.

Experience favors the Spurs big time, but strangest things have happened so it wouldn't surprise me if the Hornets won.

Typical Spurs.

At least the late 80's-early 90's Pistons or the 90's Knicks were man'd up. What ticks me off is the subtle and hypocritical ways the Spurs p*****s use. They act like what they do never happen, and get away with it. It's embarrasing.

One of the commenters said that to be honest it could of been an offensive foul or even a no call. I agree. It was a Spur's player though, so of course everyone will whine about it. NO-KG-AI the players of No can think what they want, Chris Paul whining in the media about dirty play isn't anything new so I doubt he will play any different.

Well, when a team's players are part of these could be dirty plays so much, you start to get a reputation. It's not because of the jersey he has on. He threw a shoulder into the guys back, come on.

Oh, and nice try trying to turn this into a bash Chris Paul thread.

It's not about the foul, it's about the fact you hit a hurt player behind his back, cowardly, intentionally while your team is attacking and the ball isn't near you!!! All kinds of wrong.

That's just plain dirty, whoever you are. You aren't trying to stop a basket, you aren't trying to make a basket. You know West back is achin. You just wanted to hurt.

It's because he's a Spur? That's aggravating of course. And that's not because they always win, they're boring, we are just playa haterz... It's because they're dirty, plain & simple. Over and over again.

They honesty is lost. And the respect for them disappears.

People cry when something like this happens then call the nba foul. Make up your minds people.

West is an aroggant guy (ask Dirk and Oberto), but that was a cheap shot no doubt. Very clasless move from Horry.

'Dirty Horry' is a better term.

How hard a hit is doesn't really make it dirty. And I think people take issue because he took a deliberate shot at a guys pinched nerve.

I wouldnt call it a dirty play like the nash hit, but lets just say Horry knew what he was doing.

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

That's what I was talking about before. It wasn't a hard foul on the ball. It's a dirty little cheap shot on someone's injured back off the ball.

That's not playing HARD. That's DIRTY. And there's a difference between HARD and DIRTY. And I have no problem with players playing HARD (see Horford vs TJ Ford), but I do with people playing DIRTY

Thats bull West ran into Horry screen because he tried to go for the ball that was very near . Did Horry set the screen with the intention to hit West ? Possible but it's not like the ball wasn't near the two.

Horry's action was totally off the ball. Y'all know it. And that's the kind of things that you never got suspended for, you never get fined, you never get T'd up for... So sooner or later they will do it again...
