Do you guys think that Thorn is feared by the other GMs especially now with Kiki?

Thorn is an f'n assasin when it comes to trades.

Phone Ringing

GM looks at caller ID.

GM says to himself: F&%# its Kiki. What is Thorn up to? Should I answer it. No! Let me let it go to Voicemail. I will call him when I am more prepared.

Honestly, yeah. I think Thorn's reputation is known quite well around the league. The guy never shows his hand to the public, but I'd like to think that trades with Memphis or Minnesota weren't done because of previous moves like the Kidd trade, the K-Mart trade, the VC trade, the Harris trade in how other owners or GMs now may be skeptic on dealing with Thorn (Yet I still believe we could've offered either team much better than what they traded for).

Maybe a little bit... But realistically speaking in all the trades Thorn has been a part of *with the exception of the Vince Carter trade (which was pure genius* the other team was getting a player who they wanted.

It's not like Thorn had to sell the Nuggets on Kenyon Martin, or the Mavericks on Jason Kidd, both of those teams made up their mind and really wanted those players...

Hey, if someone offers you a bowl of dog poop for a bar of gold and you willingly trade them for it, you are getting what you wanted, same thing applies to Thorn and his robbery of these moron GMs and owners around the league during his tenure here.

Some just say he holds onto talent to long but it forces other people to decide. He has patience which is really good in the business unlike Chris Wallace.

Actually, now that he has Kiki, other GM's have no reason to fear. Denver was glad to get rid of him. Remember Kiki was the one to give Kmart that big deal, and it was two or three years ago, Isiah Thomas offered Denver an expiring and a 1st for Kmart. Kiki refused. Nugget fans were joking they could bump Kmart on NJ now.

Hopefully for y'all Thorn will have final say on any trades.
