Do you guys think he's in the long term plans? everyone liking the acquisition? tradable/un-tradable?

I wanted the Pistons to draft him over Rodney Stuckey...but this was when I believed Stuckey to be an undersized SG prospect and not a tall PG.

His potential is the biggest factor as he has excellent size for a lead guard. He gets in the lane with such ease but unfortunately it is not necessarily to set up a team mate for an easy shot. So far the Grizz have played him at the two, now whether or not that is how they view him or it was due to lack of confidence in him being able to run the offense, who really knows? The organization does value him highly and he had begun to play up to that potential before he was injured late in the season. While he is far from untouchable the front office and coaching staff have a wait and see approach with his development which may mean he will not be going anywhere anytime soon. (or because since he was part of the Pau Gasol trade it has to appear that actually got something for him).

Return to Memphis Grizzlies
