Why I Love Ron Ron

Post#1 » by ICMTM » Sat May 17, 2008 2:20 pm

"The (ongoing) playoffs just got me thinking that if me and Kev (Martin)
(played) the majority (of last season) and Mike (Bibby) doesn't miss all those games, we could have piled on 12 or 18 more wins," Artest wrote. "That would have put us at 56 wins, and that is still a failure."

Artest, of course, deemed last season a failure and has taken the general stance that anything less than a championship is a lost cause.

Whether it's possible or not he ALWAYS believes he's in the game. He believes he can win anytime. It may be crazy, but it's what the Kings need!

Why do I love Ron Ron...

He's not Dennis Rodman.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Why do I love Ron-Ron, he lays it on the floor EVERY NIGHT and it's fun to watch him completely make the opposing player look foolish as he guards them(think 1st match-up with Al Thornton - he looked SILLY).

Also, Ron's REAL. He doesn't put up false walls to hide anything, he's comfortable with who he is and is genuinely a good/nice person.

Thats exactly what I was gonna say. He has a desire to win just as much as anyone on the league and he has confidence in himself and this team. That is REALLY nice to hear from your best player instead of complaining and asking for a trade after a bad season.

Yeah, I agree. I just hate ignorant misconceptions and overblown issues regarding to Artest. Like "Artest is selfish", "Artest is a cancer", "I do not trust Artest" "He will destroy the team's chemistry" blah blah blah...

If you guys heard Artest on KHTK last night, Artest was extremely humble, polite, well spoken, funny and positive... He earned more respect points from me from that interview. That is how powerful that interview on the outlook of Artest...

Artest bring lots of toughness & heart to any team that is not easy to replace ever !

Artest is exactly what team needs. The kings have to bring in a guy who he can work with. If we can land in a big man who can create shots for him. Sacramento's future would be a lot better. With him and K mart running around. Glad we have Artest. Just need a big man with the same heart.

I don't know. Ever since the Kings have been doing bad, I havent been following basketball much. It just wasn't as fun. But I'm going to try and get more involved again
