If search actually worked on this site I would show you the long threads where I was arguing against people here who were doing just that. I don't remember who was saying it- homers all run together.

You have this thing with homers, but do you realize that you're pretty much the other extreme? I guess you'd call it a hater. Both are equally annoying. At least homers can be enjoyable people to talk to. You're a serious Debbie Downer type character.

High 5- I will stand by my trackrecord on whether I have a more accurate view of the hawks or the rest of the people here do. You go back and look at predictions for the number of wins the Hawks will have each season and I have been pretty much damn close every year where the Hawks have greatly underperformed most people's expectations from this board.

And compared to homers I am always downplaying Hawks players. When I am on the general board then often I am defending the Hawks or saying the Hawks are getting screwed in a trade. Other people here just swallow their unpopular opinions of Hawks players, I think its far more interesting to bring people back to reality from time to time.

I think you usually use logic during your arguments(unlike someone like Hawkamaniac who obviously just roots for the team to lose)....but even you would have to admit that atleast 90 % of your post on THIS board involve a negative comment about someone on the Hawks. It might be true most of the time, but it's very easy to see how you can come off as someone who just posts to piss people off.

I disagree that its true. When you base it entirely on boxscores and not what happens in a game its tough to take your stuff seriously.

Look tontoz isn't a fan of Chill or Horford, but at least he watches games and talks about them.

Josh isn't a fan of Acie Law, but once again, he watched games.

When you obviously aren't watching guys play, it has nothing to do with you being in "reality" it has more to do with you using stats and boxscores which you can't do to scout basketball.

Basketball is where a guy can have 2 assist and 2 turnovers and could have done a much better job running a team than the guy with 3 assist and no turnovers. Basketball is a sport where PF could score 30 but your starting PF did a great job playing defense in the game.

But you don't acknowledge it. I have no problem pointing out the flaws of all the players on the team. I have no problem trading any of them if they get the team better. (Hell, i would love to trade Joe for Carmelo and Marvin(and whatever else necessary for it to work) for Anthony Parker and Rasho, and Bibby for Kyle Lowery, and Mike Miller right now to make this team better) Lets not pretend its just a bunch of people being homers. Its the fact that you obviously don't know fully what you are talking about but pretend what you say is gospel.

Who would be the playmaker in the half court sets? Bibby? yeah right.

Melo averages the same number of assists as Smith with even more turnovers. Our half court offense would be even worse.

Rip- the stuff about me not watching the games just cracks me up at this point. I think its funny how that has taken on a life of its own no matter how ridiculous it is. I just don't argue with people about subjective in game stuff like help defense or intangibles. I'd rather talk about the indisputable stats where everyone can look them up on their own and dont' have to take my word for it. So much of what I say is negative on this board because there are so many ridiculous things said here and I just don't bother to comment on the stuff that is reasonable. If you look at my comments about hte Hawks on the trade or general board you would see me defending the Hawks far more often because then I wouldn't be dealing with a bunch of Hawks homers.
