They should trade Hedo for a real PF and SG and slide Lewis to the 3.

I think that would solve most of their problems.

Sign a quality backup big man.

I wonder if they'll slide Hedo to the SG spot when Battie comes back...assuming they'd want to pair him with Howard just like previous years.

Upgrade at PG probably

If not Dooling, change at back-up PG to a more traditional PG

A couple rebounding and defensive helpers up front for Dwight (one of them being Battie), one has to start, or at least finish games.

Upgrade at SG. Bigger, skilled offensively, but has to be able to defend (taking a run on my man Kirk Snyder sounds right, attitude issues are in the past since New Orleans from what I know). Or at least an upgrade in the way of a bigger guy who is a good defender, just not much offensively.

More offensive devlopment for Dwight

A real dynamic scorer. I think Rashard and Hedo can always be slowed down by good defensive teams. The Magic need a player that can break down the defense and can put up 30 in a big game.

Superstar wing. Someone who can actually dominate games Because Rashard and Hedo won't do it in the playoffs. A real PG. PF who can play d and rebound. and a bench. Plus team defense

I think they need a PF in the Charles Oakley/Horace Grant mold. Someone who will help out on the dirty work but could still hit an open J. A Haslem maybe.

Then they would be able to move Shard or Hedo to the 2 spot and there you go, now you have a big team rather than a small team.

Plus with the natural improvement of D12 you have a sick team regardless of anything else.
