Daly for Okur + Brewer seems reasonable enough value-wise....but I'd need to have some sort of follow-up move planned to add another defensive-minded big before agreeing to something that would remove the lone shot-blocker from the roster.
Another player I'd be interested in adding from the Jazz is Kirilenko. Ordinarily, I don't think he'd be attainable, but I think his big contract on a crowded roster necessitates that Utah would listen to offers.

Interesting. Apparently you don't follow Okur that much. I would consider him to be the opposite of a "low post scorer" for a PF/C. Okur's main asset is hanging around the 3pt line and knocking down 3's/long jumpers. Boozer is the low post scorer on that team. Sure Okur gets some offensive board putbacks, but he is hardly a low post scorer. We already have a big in Jason Smith who plays a very similar style game as Okur.
Also, the idea of an Okur/Hibbert front line would be awful. 2 guys who really struggle to get up and down the court. No thanks.

I think that's a fantastic deal. Okur for Dalembert straight up is arguable. But the addition of Brewer definitely puts it over the top. He is a promising young player. If we were able to follow that up by getting a big defensive PF/C either through FA or trade, then this team would look pretty good.

This is one of those trades that looks very good on paper, but when the season starts may not work out well. Sammy has his flaws, but he is the fuel of how we get out and run. His shot blocking ability allows us to get on the jail break and get easy baskets.
I don't know if I'd do it. Looks good initially, but after thinking about it I don't know. We'd definitely need to replace him. That's for sure.
