Pfft, we could play perfect ball the first four months and still collapse in August.

Im a big fan of Josh Hamilton, but not enough of a fan to watch the Rangers. My girlfriend has converted me to Yankee-ism. Sorry.

If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

I bleed Ranger blue. They're looking really good, especially the pitching. I'm thrilled.

Call me with 1 out left in the bottom of the 9th in the 7th game of the World Series and then, just then...

The other team hits a grand slam and wins the game and the series...

Man, even my fantasies about the Rangers are tainted...

They don't even qualify as the red headed stepchild of Sports Teams in the Metroplex. Wow...

If the Rangers are a .500 ball club on my birthday (July 15th) then I'll start to pay attention to them. Until then...I'm a Mavs fan.

If they can keep up the pitching, which they can't, then we have a good shot at getting our hopes up and being let down at the end of the season. At least it makes this year interesting.

Actually, even if the Rangers start stinking again this year, we should all be fairly excited about their future. This isn't a team of aging vets playing well; it's young guys like Hamilton, Murphy, Kinsler, and even guys like Brandon Boggs winning games for us (offensively and defensively). Now, I will say that it's vets getting it done on the mound, with the exception of Scott Feldman. But still, getting it done is getting it done.

It's fun watching a team play its butt off game in and game out, show some grit and guts, and be rewarded with victories. Quite a change our dear deparated Mavs.
