Doug Collins (i believe you are a fan of him...if my memory serves me right)
"You want to make opponents play faster than they normally do...speed up the game"

(im a fan of doug collins)

Except when you're missing all those chucks and the other team is getting all those rebounds. It's unreliable. The main concern I have about Artest is whether he would take too many 3's. But Baron/Jack/Artest would be just intense enough to try out for one year.

Artest brings toughness physically and mentally. Hes a downright beast. Im a big fan of him. His intensity is out of this world. A straight up competitor.

Baron and Jack are competitors as well. This trio can be the best out of each other. Wed be the most intimidating team in the league. Thats an advantage before the game even begins.

Id give Al and the pick for him. And sign him to an extension (is that possible?)
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.

Reunite Artest and Jackson and your asking for trouble on and off the court.

Jackson has matured, I highly doubt he does ask for trouble off the court.
His emotions will run much higher when he's on the court but I don't expect Jackson to do anything bad off the court with Artest around.

As for the Baron/Jackon/Artest lineup, it'll work but were does Monta play? 6th man, lol Yah okay.

When does his game mature?

I'm more worried about the trouble he causes for the W's on the court.

The Jackson recuperation story is one of the most overdone propaganda campaigns the league has going right now.

Here's the math:

He was told flatly that he would be expelled from the league after another incident and that he would absolutely have his contract torn up on the spot. The league has every right to do so and would still do it in a heartbeat. The Warriors, incidentally, were not opposed to suddenly having that cap room at their disposal should Jackson slip up and cost himself millions.

But it is so good to see Stephen Jackson "mature" so suddenly and unexpectedly upon hearing the news that his next screw up would cost him more than $20 million. It may stick and that's best (for everyone, from Jackson and his family to the fans in row 12) but the original motivation was nothing more than financial.

Sorry to continually have to remind fans of the business of the NBA but this is fact. Jackson did not change his behavior one iota until he was told his next publicized issue would be grounds for immediate expulsion from the league and voiding of his contract.

And the Warriors PR department is a notoriously active one. Jackson and Baron have been at the center of most staged public events and the fluff pieces about them are routinely fed to the local media outlets.

Meanwhile, these two brilliant charity magnates spend the vast majority of their off time partying and sleeping in.

Like normal pro athletes.

I didn't mean his game in that way, more about his T's and him ranting to the refs.

I worry about Artest. He's a tremendous talent, but I really don't want him anywhere near the team. And I'm just talking about his *on court* game.

I also don't trust Artest. I don't want him anywhere near Andris, Monta, Wright and last but not least Jack.

+1 Floppy.

He chucks a ton and is one of the most unfocused players I've ever seen far too often to stake faith in the talent he's got winning out. Very selfish guy.

Much rather have Harrington and Jackson.
Or Harrington and Jackson without Artest.

You know who has led the kings in +/- each of the last 3 years ?

Ron Artest

Wrong!!

Brad Fricken Miller is the correct answer.

Brad looked really good last season. Bounce-back year for him.

I doubt Brad Miller has anything left in him,
IF we get him he'll probbaly get injured and well cry for another big man for the rest of the season.

Who would you like to add in that case?

Doesn't matter. IF we get him he'll probably get injured and we'll cry for another big man the rest of the season.

Played in 70+ games 4 of last 6 seasons, the other 2 he played 56 and 63.. by the same token our fearless hero has hit the 70+ plateau ONCE since his rookie contract (last season, who woulda guessed?!)

Miller would be a solid addition for us though... he would play C offensively and PF defensively, unless the C is a big guy (Yao, Dwight, etc) or the PF is an extremely quick one. If we could get him for Al, that'd be a steal..

Your right, even if we can get 65 games that would be awesome, but
I'd rather have Camby for 65 games. Wouldn't you? I'm pretty sure their salaries are almost alike... yah they are just checked trade checker.

So if were getting Brad for the same price i'd put an offer for Camby.

Camby in 12 seasons...695 games...average 58 games a season
Baron in 9 seasons...608 games...average of 67 games a season

Cambys last 6 seasons...
02/03 - 29
03/04 - 72
04/05 - 66
05/06 - 56
06/07 - 70
07/08 - 79

i only see 3 70+ seasons...

if you go back 6 seasons...he played 29 games one season...of course you failed to type that in your arguement.

What you failed to realize in 510's argument is that he posted Miller as having 4 70+ games in the last 6 years, not Camby.

Carry on.

Yes, but thanks for proving the point that Baron's as brittle as Camby

Although Camby never dogs it on the court :o
