No, what is pathetic is that you continue to turn the other cheek, rather than realizing of all professional sports, the NBA is far and away the easiest sport to manipulate an outcome.

What makes you think the NBA wants Lakers/Celtics? If im not mistaken, in the 2002 Eastern conference finals it was the Boston Celtics vs the NJ nets, right? In the West it happened to be the Sacramento Kings and you guessed it, LA Lakers. Needless to say being within 2 wins, we did not gbo to the finals that year.

All I am saying is yes the referees make bad calls, but it goes both ways. Depending on who the outcome favors is really all this boils down to.

PS: go to basketball-reference.com and take a look at the past 15 years of NBA playoff matchups. Look at one key stat: FT's attempted and fouls called. 95% of the time the team with more free throws attemped wins the series/and or finals (More specifically look at 2006 with Miami vs. Dallas { Dallas is up 2-nil and then looses 4 staright and wade out shoots the entire Mavericks team in those games)

Lastly, it would not surprise me if we win, lose, blow them out, they blow us out. Fact of the matter is, anything can happen in the NBA

I agree....

besides, DS wanted the lakers to be king at that time. if the celtics were in the finals the lakers would have lost a game. didnt we have the lakers# that season ? :) we played them well that season.

the celtics wouldnt have fallen 0-4 to the lakers like the nets did. no way no how.

Anybody who thinks Stern doesn't want the Celtics in the Finals is nuts.

Absolutely bonkers.

I thought Game 6 was very poorly officiated. Chalk it up to homecourt advantage.

But if you think the NBA is trying to screw the C's out of making the Finals, you're delusional.

If we could win A SINGLE FKING ROAD GAME this wouldn't be an issue.

I ask again, what gives you the idea that David Stern has ever had anything other than a completely anti-Celtics agenda??

Salvatore has been pretty bad lately also. My most hated refs are Ron Garretson and Violet though. I remember Darrell Garretson being to blame with letting the Pistons get away with murder in '88, his son picks the legacy right up.

If you are watching this game, then you know the refs are in bed for the Cavs. This horrible to watch call after call going for Cleveland. How many steps does LeBlow get before it's call TRAVELING?

It would be unfair to call that travel on LeBron when Dwyane Wade traveled twice as far, thrice as often and got away with it.

A travel is a travel. The refs should call it.
