Wally sucks, this trade would make us the lowest scoring team in the nba.

There are alternatives to Wally making half as much money and being just as effective. Also I don't believe Milwaukee would do that trade.

It's not like Bibby is a big deal here. Keep the guy around, just watch howe much better Horford played after we got him. I'm not even talking about JJ's performances after Bibby. Let the guy develop some hemistry with our guys to see how we can do. He's in the last year of his deal, so we can't go wrong keeping him at least untill next season's trade deadline.

I don't want Wally coming within 100 yards of any of our young players. He sucks and he's a team cancer. I wouldn't trade anyone for him.

Horford would be even better with Acie and that aint happening as long as Bibby is here and he's too one dimensional anyway.

The only problems I see with waiting until deadline is that Bibby may be injured at that time and that it doesn't give time for a new lineup to gel.

Bibby's 14M expiring deal seems to be the best way to acquire a talent upgrade for the team provided we can find the right trading partner and talent (Wally Z isn't it). I'm fine waiting for trade deadline to make a decision on Marvin's development if I have to, but I'm evaluating every possible scenario for Bibby now. If we can't find a worthwhile deal now, then I'd live with revisiting things mid-season, but I wouldn't want to miss an great opportunity just because I was curious how the lineup would work over a full season.

Wally is not a PIECE in this trade, just a contract.

We get

Bogut, #38 and Wally's big expiring for Marvin and Bibby. Bogut could tie down our C spot making the Hawks a big, athletic team.

Duhon is just a solid PG until Acie gets the big minutes, then he becomes a solid back up.

As of now , we are set at 2, 3, and 4. Acie should be the future at the 1, we need to get bigger in the front court and Marvin will get squezzed.
