What a game by PJ! He was amazing in the fourth! That jumper at the end was clutch!

I am so glad he is on this team! The guy was phenomenal!

If he isn't re-signed, I don't know what to say.

Yeah, but let me be the first to say, HOUSE STOLE THE BALL!

PJ was huge. I think he's established himself as our backup C and has finally found his rhythm. No way Perk, Powe, or Davis makes a clutch J like that either (mainly because they know their limitations and know better than to even take it, meanwhile that is PJ's spot.)

I've been tough on him (called him the black Scott Pollard) throughout the regular season as he played pretty terrible, but he's really stepped up and is now hitting his mid-range jumper that I once cringed seeing him take. He was phenominal today and just real solid all series.

I remember I doubted the PJ signing. I regret that, because PJ has been and is awesome.

Not to mention he played great D on James on the final drive where he tossed an airball.

Kudos to PJ!!!! I said it earlier today, we needed the bench to do the little things, and PJ came through with it.

This morning I was at Waltham for my brother's graduation from Brandeis, and while I was walking to the ceremony I saw PJ Brown stopped in traffic on South Street. His window was open, so I yelled, "You got it today PJ" He turned and waived and said thanks before he turned onto another street. I sighed longingly and told my brother 15 minutes before his graduation that from that moment, the rest of the day would be all down hill emotionally for me. He thought I was kidding. Also, I am convinced that my words of encouragement to PJ is what spurred him on to have such a great game.

He was also the only player of ours that was able to check Z.

He did a FANTASTIC job on Z all through the series, every time he was in there too.

He's also the only [current] NBA player I've ever met, and seems like a very nice guy :-)

You know, PJ made one other game-saving play too - that last big stop when LeBron drove from the left and missed - PJ was all in his face.

I'd really like to see Scot Pollard do a fraction of those things. I was mystified last summer when people looked at Pollard like a legit backup or anything more than a 3rd big, 12th man. The whole summer I really hoped we'd sign PJ. And I think Ainge said we'd never have signed PJ if Pollard hadn't gotten hurt??? That worked out for the best. PJ gives of 2 of the 3 things we lack from Powe/Perk/Davis - length and a J. All we need is a 4/5 with low post offense, but PJ is certainly an asset!

As I pointed out months ago, Brown has long started his seasons slowly. I'm glad that he's gotten it going in time to matter. :)

Celtics completely outrebounded the Cavs today which was HUGE and PJ was one of the main reasons why. I actually expect to see slightly less of PJ in the next round as either Powe or Big Baby match up pretty well against McDyess on offense, but he will still see time and could be huge over the course of the next two series...

Excellent point. Doc kept emphasizing during the interviews that we needed to keep CLE off the boards. I love Perk, but PJ did a much better job boxing out and keeping balls alive.
