yeah i was over there also and i knew boozer was slumping at the end of the season and the playoffs but they make it sound like he's been down most of the year and really took a nose dive after the all-star break.
i don't know if i could call him a top 5 pf at the top of his game. he's always been a piss poor defender

They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Boozer for Sam would be a great trade for us talentwise but fills a hole and creates a new one.
If we did this trade, Id do EVERYTHING in my power to aquire a guy like Biedrins or Okafor, even if it meant doing a s+t and including our 1st.
Miller
Iggy
Thaddeous
Boozer
Okafor

IDK if anyone can help me out on this, but there is an article about the Heat being interested in Boozer next year and him opting out of a contract. However, isnt this not allowed? Given Boozers past, I would think the NBA wouldnt allow for this to happen.
I'd actually rather see Beidrens playing center for us then Okafor. He is bigger and will cost less.

Yeah, that's nice. Just one question: Where's our bench.

Getting back to the original proposal, I would have been great guns for it earlier last season, now I'm not so sure. Brewer started out putting up some nice numbers and Carney looked like crap. After the Korver trade Brewer's game seemed to decline while Carney took off. Brewer is the better shooter, but his all-around game is weaker. If I am getting back a three point shooting C in return for a shot-blocking C, I want the second player to be better than Brewer.

No way Carney is better all round than Brewery . I just saw Brewer putting up a decent defensive effort against Kobe . Not only that He can even score on a Defensive 1st team player consistently.

Completely agree with this. Brewer is by far the better all-around player. He's a superior defender, he's better putting the ball on the floor, he better at attacking the basket (unless Carney is free for an uncontested dunk). I would say the only area Carney is better at is shooting the 3 and even there, Carney isn't real good.
Don't forget, Brewer started at SG for an elite NBA team. Carney could barely win minutes with a team that is extreemly weak at SG. That has to mean something.
