moritorium in Fran roster listings

I love reading posts on the speculations of what our roster could look like next season. After seeing this team finally have some postseaosn success and seeing our centerpiece develop into a bonafide superstar, I think Orlando will become a desireable place to play for free agents.
As much as I love the optimism, I cannot concede to the dillusion I read day in and day out of some of you that plop Fran Vazquez on next season's roster. We have a lot of things to be hopeful next season, and should have hopes of attracting quality free agents that in the past wouldn't have given us a second look, but can we please let go any hopes of Fran in the lineup next season. When us enough enough? I'm not saying he is never going to play in a Magic uni, but it looks like groundhog day on this board. Every potential lineup has Fran as a vital contributor to our upfront depth issues. I vote a moritorium on Fran roster spots on these potential lineups until something happens to prove otherwise. It's time to move on....at least in make believe roster creation.

Nearly every single roster I've seen on this board has only listed Fran as a "maybe" or a "hopefully". I haven't seen anyone yet list him as a vital contributor. Where are you getting this from?

Then you haven't been looking a lot of posters are of the mind that Fran will be coming to Orlando. I am not one of them considering he has that large buyout clause and a year left on his contract.
So yes there are those posters who think he will be around, but they are not facing reality.
2009 will be the year if Fran shows up with the Magic.

I understand that is your opinion and I respect that but you can't generalize and say that most people are assuming he is going to be a vital contributor. I just haven't seen much of that at all. Maybe one or two but not very many. Either way it isn't worth arguing over let alone making a whole new thread about. However, as ivDT pointed out, the thread would have a purpose if there was a poll posted so others could share their opinion as well.

BTW...I too don't believe Fran will be coming over this year but anything can happen.

As soon as the Magic draft their first, Mr. rookie will be on all roster lists. So, Fran can also be on such lists as a Magic asset.
