all i've got to say is that the NBA Finals at home is something we should have thought about when we were 15-10 early on, or the lakers when they dropped to 9-8, or detroit when they went through a 6-5 stretch in march.

meanwhile boston was dominating at 8-0, 20-2, 29-3, etc. and closed the season on a 25-4 run.

We haven't lost at home for just under two months. We were the best road team record-wise in the regular season, and we're going to win a road game sooner rather than later.

There are a lot of teams out west I'm not convinced the Celtics can handle. Some of them aren't even in the playoffs anymore.

i think in the eastern conference playoffs, it will be tougher. especially against detroit. due to the fact that the format is 2-2-1-1-1.

but the finals is a 2-3-2. in my estimation, that is a huge advantage for the home team.

And they'll be one of the weakest champions ever. Not winning one game on the road in the playoffs is straight up WEAK.

I think we would have fared better in the Western playoffs, where less defense is played.

Yet they still won both series. If they win the 'ship no one will give a **** how many games it took. And personally I don't care either.

And that's just a pre-made excuse for the teams they beat. "But they didn't win on the road!" Who gives a flying ****? Last I checked a win is a win sir.

Wow, people are hating for the most stupid reasons.

First they were not suppose to coexist
Then they question Rondo and the PG position
Then they hated on how no one will take the big shot
The season started, people hated on how they play in the East
When they steam rolled through the West, people hated because they only played them twice a year.
Now that we are in the playoffs, people are hating them because they haven't won a road game.

Can someone please lock this thread? I don't want anyone else to offer their stupid opinions about the Celtics.
