Lee has good touch around the basket. I like his game. He's high energy, hustle, gets down to business on the boards. Most importantly, he has a lot more room to improve. Their loss would be our gain. I'll take a high percentage fg player with extra offensive rebounds, over a soft shooting big man that hangs around the perimeter all day long.

I would've done that trade if MD had played DJ and Tucker more and developed them to be decent bench players at least. But taking Barbs away would take a big chunk out of back-court scoring. I like Lee but not at the expense of losing Barbosa.
Barbosa... the guy who disappears in big games? I'll take Lee over Barbosa any day.

How about the following sequence of trades:
Phx: Barbosa, #15, Tucker to Mem for Mike Miller and Lowry.
Mem: Barbosa to NY for #5 and Rose's expiring.
NY: Randolph to Utah for AK47
Utah: Boozer for other values to be determined.
Provided Sloan could get Randolph play to his potential to replace Boozer, that'd be a win-win-win-win trade!
Jazz gets rid of AK's contract and should get something really useful for Boozer.
NY can play DA's system better with Barbosa and AK, the latter actually better than Marion. All they need is to motivate Curry to play enough defense. Curry/AK/Crawford/Barbosa/Marbury with backups in Lee/Q/Robinson/Jeffries could be the Suns of the East for a lot of fun and regular season success.

UTA gets raped, no matter what scrap they get back for Boozer.
Boozer>>>>Randolph
I'd do that first trade. Lowry would be nice here and more ready to contribute than a rookie PG at #15. Mike Miller would be AWESOME here
AK47 is a waste for Utah. If they could motivate Randolph who is a much better talent than Boozer, then they get value for AK. It's a risk given Randolph's past. but, he never played in a winning situation yet.
BTW, as a Suns fan, my proposal was meant to give Mem incentive to do the trade. But they might not really want LB, hence happy to ship him for a high pick and expiring contract.

Lee is too redundant with Diaw and Boris is the better post presence.
Lee is a far better rebounder. Doris is a woman and is too soft. We need some good energy guys who will play consistently.
