Two points...

1. Ray Allen is getting severely underrated right now. With RealGM (and the public in general), it's all about "what have you done for me lately". Don't fool yourself. Ray Allen has had a tremendous career and is one of the better shooting guards in NBA history. I'm not going to let a bad series affect my view of his career which has been spectacular.

2. I don't think now, nor have I ever thought he was a better player than Reggie Miller (unsurprisingly).

The consensus of the "experts" here was that Allen was better.

Well we've seen in the postseason this year that Allen comes up small in crunch time, which OTOH was the time that Reggie stepped up big time.

Any of the "experts" here maybe want to do a little rethinking?

Reggie Miller >>> Ray Allen. Allen isn't fit to carry Reggie's gym bag for him.

I can't believe it, writerman and myself actually agree on something.

I actually agree with writerman too...although I can't help but point out that statistically Ray Allen throughout his career has averaged more points, more rebounds, and more assists. So what makes Reggie the better player? He's one of the great big game players in NBA history.
