as a Kings fan I would offer Quincy Douby and a 2nd rounder. Both players have struggled for their respective teams and could use a new situation.

I would consider this trade, if the Nets had / get a backup point guard. Douby could be that offensive spark off the bench that the Nets have needed in forever... And since he's also young it's possible he could be around for the long run.

What did people expect from the 23rd pick?
Chauncy Billups overnight, just add water?!
2 Seasons he has played. 2 Seasons!!!
One being his rooie year, behind Jason Kidd of all people and the 2nd only playing 53 games out of proper condition because of a foot injury.

You guys must have your CDLs, cause you are excellent bus drivers.

It's not so much about him being a disappointment.
He needs minutes for him to be both effective and motivated.
In that way, he has no future here because of Devin. If we keep devin for a long time, marcus will be a career backup. Might as well let marcus go and get a real backup like a pargo-ish type player. It's too bad though. I was rooting for the guy.

The Nets want to trade Marcus Douby and a second rounder is what his value is at now.

I think his value is a bit more than that. But we'll see.

I heard Marcus still has a few that you could use somewhere in the stash, safely hidden away from the grubby fingers of the police officers in Storrs, CT
