Yeah, it's not against the rules, but it's also not particularly common. Trades don't usually happen until draft night.

I am a not a friggin nets fan. I hate the Nets. But I'm just curious for my Heat's sake or any team if they could pull off a blockbuster on lottery night.

C-Webb was traded for Mitch Richmond is the one and only time I remember such a thing happening.

Why not? If I'm a losing team with bad publicity, I would jump on a chance to get a superstar.
